It's April here on this wet and windy Friday! Is it just me or did the seasons get mixed up some how...I'm pretty sure that only two weeks ago it felt like summer!

Have you been to A Pile of Scrap lately?!? I'm pretty sure certain that Lynn has bought out a warehouse of amazing new scrapping goodies! Seriously! I can't believe all the new goodies now in store--so grab a coffee and keep scrolling below!

Copic Markers

 

 

 

Copic Markers are all the rage these days and have taken the paper crafting industry by storm! After being posted to CFB Gagetown I was very surprised to find out there is no one teaching classes on these! I am a certified Copic Designer and have been teaching Beginner to Advanced classes for the past four years! I am happy to say that I will begin teaching classes at A Pile of Scrap most likely in late August or early September!

 

High Hopes Rubber Stamps

 

 

 

 

Regardless of the medium you choose to color your stamped images with, High Hopes stamps have some of the most adorable images available on the market! Lynn now has a beautiful selection of stamps in store! Best about these stamps...they are made in Canada!

 

 

Mr. Huey's Paint Mists from Studio Calico

 

As I mentioned in my last blog post, these mists are in my opinion the best! And I'm so happy Lynn is now carrying them! I expect them to be flying off the shelf...Can't wait to add to my collection!

 

New Lucky 8 Punches!

 

 





 

 

 

 

Some new punches are now in store! I can't believe I have yet to get my hands on these since they came out over a year ago! I have seen some beautiful projects completed with these!

 

 

Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Paint

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everywhere I go, I always seem to come across some pretty big Tim Holtz fans! I have to admit, I haven't quite entered the mixed media art world just yet....but I intend to get there! Regardless I plan on adding some of these paints to my stash--the possibilities seem endless.

What a great new line from Bo-Bunny, perfect timing for father's day projects as well as summer outdoor adventures! A Pile of Scrap now has the full paper line and embellishments in store!

 

 

 

 

 

Can you say color? yes!!! I can already see some summer beach day layouts coming to mind! Love these bright vibrant hues!

 

 

 

 

 

You don't have to be American to love this line! The red and blue are just incredible! I think I'm going to be getting my hands on this line first! Perhaps I will have a layout to share in the near future ;)

 

 

Echo Park- Perfect Summer

 

 





 

Eeek! I love Echo Park! Their lines never disappoint and A Perfect Summer is no different! I just love the great mix of pattern and color! With a four year old boy running around...I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of opportunities for some great pictures!  Yippee!

 

Carta Bella- Cool Summer

 

 

 

 

Wow! This line is absolutely beautiful and fun! I just wish I had a little girl to scrapbook! On the other hand I could get in front of the camera once in a while for some shots---yep gotta work on that one!

National Scrapbook Day Is Coming!



Only two more sleeps to go,  National Scrapbook day is just around the corner! I love that there is an official day to celebrate what we do as memory keepers--let's face it, it's a big deal! Scrapbooking allows us to preserve our memories not just with pictures in an album but it gives us the opportunity first and foremost to express ourselves through creativity, allows us to document the details, and establishes a history for future conversation across the generations of our families :)  If you haven't already made plans for this Saturday, you are invited to celebrate with us at our crop!
